Over four intensive sessions, you will dive into the inner workings of audiovisual writing: how episodic stories are constructed, which narrative strategies sustain a series, and how to develop original ideas tailored to today’s streaming landscape.
Free of rigid formulas or magic recipes, Gustavo Malajovich shares insights from nearly 30 years of experience across film and television. He will walk through various genres, styles, and formats, seamlessly connecting theory, practice, and industry reality.

ABOUT GUSTAVO MALAJOVICH
Writer, screenwriter, and instructor specializing in audiovisual storytelling for film and television, with an extensive career spanning national and international productions. He has developed projects for HBO, Pol-Ka, Disney Television, Antena 3 (Spain), Underground, GP Producciones, Pampa Films, Eyeworks, Canal 11 (Mexico), Azteca (Mexico), 100 Bares, CBS All Access, and other prominent production companies across Latin America and Europe.

Selected Credits & Works:
The Bronze Garden (El Jardín de Bronce, HBO): Screenwriter and author of the original novel. With three seasons aired (2017, 2019, and 2023), it established itself as a benchmark for Latin American film noir and earned an International Emmy Award nomination.
Tell Me a Story (USA, 2018–2020)
Los Simuladores: Contributing writer for the legendary series (2002–2003 season).
Feature Films: Notable screenwriting credits include Encarnación (co-written with Sergio Wolf and Anahí Berneri) and Death in Buenos Aires (Muerte en Buenos Aires, co-written with Natalia Meta).

Teaching Experience:
He teaches at ENERC (National Film Experimentation and Filmmaking School), CIEVYC (Center for Research and Experimentation in Video and Cinema), the Ricardo Rojas Cultural Center (University of Buenos Aires - UBA), ORT School, and Escuela Aquilea (directed by Ángel Faretta).
His debut novel, The Bronze Garden (Penguin Random House, 2013), has been translated into eight languages. His second novel, El Hombre de Niebla (Penguin Random House, 2026), is scheduled for release soon.
